Family Readiness Support Assistants

Family Readiness Support Assistants (FRSA) empower commanders in their duty to deliver the Total Army Family Program so that Soldiers and their families are entitled, informed, educated, assisted and made ready for the unique demands of military life before, during and after deployment.

FRSAs assist commander with family readiness responsibilities, provide administrative and logistical assistance to Family Readiness Groups (FRG), serve as a conduit for command information to families, increase family resilience allowing soldiers to remain mission-focused, develop standard operating procedures with commanders and provide training to commanders, family readiness liaisons and FRG leaders.
