Staff Sgt. James M. Wosika, Jr., Age 24, of St Paul was killed in combat.  Sgt. Wosika was assigned to B Company, 2nd Combined Arms Battalion, 136th Infantry, based in Crookston.  While traveling on a foot patrol mission near Fallujah, Iraq an Improvised Explosive Device detonated near his vehicle on Tuesday, Jan. 9 at approximately 3 p.m. Iraq time.
